For administrators
The VERSATILE project aims to support university administrators, such as student services and Erasmus student support teams, in developing and preparing an effective administrative infrastructure for virtual student exchange.
To this end, the project has developed and published the Guidelines for Administrative Infrastructure and Support Services. These guidelines are designed to help European higher education institutions (HEIs) set up virtual student exchanges or virtual student mobility between several institutions. They describe the design of and experience with an administrative support infrastructure that serves multilateral exchange, ensures the accreditation of academic achievements, enables administration (student selection, enrolment, support), navigates multiple learning platforms and conferencing systems, coordinates work with multiple exchange coordinators, helps to align the communication of differing academic qualification requirements and student address, and thus brings together knowledge from different academic systems and traditions.
